Recommendations Find $200K to complement existing funding commitments for Troupsburg to construct treatment plant and sewers. Commitments Steuben SWCD will install streambank stabilization through shared services program in the hamlet of Troupsburg (may be related to onsite system failures) Village of Troupsburg has submitted a Bond Act/EPF application for a wastewater collection and treatment system to mitigate the onsite problems that are impacting Troups Creek. |

Recommendations U.S.Army Corps of Engineers should fund enhanced streambank stabilization below dams. Commitments Pennsylvania is developing an AMD (acid mine drainage) TMDL. U.S.Army Corps of Engineers is blending water from Tioga (acid) & Hammond (clean) Reservoirs to overcome AMD effect Steuben County is installing streambank stabilization in tribs to counteract erosion due to dam releases. |

(Areas include Meads Creek, Colonel Bills, Seeley, Catatonk Creek, Otselic River & Otselic Lake) DEC will conduct assessment of this waterbody in 2004 |
