Vernal Pool Monitoring
There are two phases to the USC Vernal Pool Monitoring Program. The first phase includes the simple mapping of the pool. A short mapping form is available Here. By filling out this form and submitting it to the address listed on it, or by contacting the USC directly we can include your pool in our database. ** Visit our Vernal Pool Mapping page for more information**
The second form incorporates more descriptive data about the pool and the forms shown below were designed by the USC in order to catalogue information on known vernal pools throughout the USC watershed. The informaiton files related to each type of assessment form (ArcGIS 9.1 and ArcView 3.1) is available on the VP GIS Page.
When data is entered onto a hard copy of these forms and submitted to the USC wetlands office (address as follows) the information can then be entered into our USC Vernal Pool Database and used to study vernal pools throughout our watershed.
